Rusty Nailed by Alice Clayton Blog Tour

In this sequel to Wallbanger, fan favorites Caroline Reynolds and Simon Parker negotiate the rollercoaster of their new relationship while house-sitting in Sausalito.

Playing house was never so much fun—or so confusing. With her boss on an extended honeymoon, Caroline’s working crazy-long hours to keep the interior design company running—especially since she’s also the lead designer for the renovation of a gorgeous old hotel. And with Simon, her hotshot photographer boyfriend, gallivanting all over the world for his job, the couple is heavy-duty into "absence makes the heart grow fonder" mode. No complaints about the great reunion sex, though!

Then a trip back east to his childhood home has Simon questioning his nomadic lifestyle. He decides to be home more. A lot more. And he wants Caroline home more, too. Though their friends’ romantic lives provide plenty of welcome distraction, eventually Caroline and Simon have to sort out their relationship. Sure, more togetherness is a good thing—but does less traveling and working have to mean the other extreme? Apple pie and picket fences? With this second book in the Cocktail series, USA TODAY bestselling author Alice Clayton delivers another delicious, frothy confection of a book, shaking up her characters, stirring in laugh-out-loud humor, and serving sizzling romance straight up!

Alice has done it again! 4.5 Wallbanging Stars!!

I could not wait to get my hands on more Caroline and her Wallbanger (Simon). Their dynamic as individuals and as a couple is so much fun!

We take a quick ride through their relationship in the beginning of the book, then things start to get interesting…

Caroline finds out what it’s like to be the boss of her friends design firm and Simon goes back to his home town. You can't help but fall a little more in love with Caroline and her Wallbanger through it all.

Alice takes us through all this, while making me laugh my butt off throughout the entire book. I even started singing a Wizard of Oz song because of a line she inserted. :) We get tons of Clive action... I LOVE that cat and we get to spend some time with their friends too!

I absolutely love all of Alice's works and Rusty Nailed did not disappoint! Oh, and wait until you get to the Epilogue!!!

The Intern Volume 2 Blitz!

My cock noticed her before I did. She came out of nowhere. Completely unexpected.
And I let her in…unwillingly. But she gave me no choice. She sledgehammered my thick walls, leaving me charmed by her knowledge, and seduced by her beauty. I was captivated.
And now…it was about to tumble down in a tsunami of lies. Uncertainty riveted my core as my anger spread…she was impossible to forget. After all, she was still my intern.
Forbidden. Lust. Betrayal.
I felt all of those things for her at once. But only one would destroy us.

What can I say....I LOVED THIS BOOK! I have read many books by Mrs. Smith and this one is at the top of the list!
When I read this book, I was blown away by the chemistry between Roxie and Griffin. They are my new favorite book couple! This book deals with real issues and fits perfectly in the New Adult Genre!

Who doesn't love a hot jock?!?! Griffin and his Texas roots were awesome! He was sooooo smexy! He had such a genuine spirit and holy hotness! I loved how he knew what he wanted and wasn't ashamed to go and get, regardless of what anyone thought!

And that Tanya!!!!!! Ugh!

Badass Roxie was great! She was human and flawed, but she was loving and compassionate. She did frustrate me from time to time, but that's what made her a great character. I'm not going to go into what all happens, but if you love a real love this book!

Target this Blitz by Lily White

Synopsis: I’m not sure what I was thinking that day. It was a normal Thursday, nothing new or exciting had occurred in the morning. I’d risen from bed, taken a shower and brushed my teeth. I’d then jumped on the 8:05 bus that ran a short distance between my house and the county library where I worked. The ride took its usual 15 minutes before it left me standing fresh faced in front of a building of gothic construction that was my favorite place in the world. After straightening my knee length skirt, I pushed open the door that led into the interior of the library. It was at that moment that my world would change – impossibly and forever. It was a fateful movement of wood that collided with the shoulder of a man that would alter my very existence. It wasn’t fear that I felt at that moment – more like the feeling of being watched. It was the feeling of knowing that danger lurks - the sensation of the hair standing on end at the back of your neck. Looking back on a moment that happened so many months ago, I now realize that I should have listened to that feeling. As I would later find out, the man standing in front of me referred to himself as Master Lucas… …and I was his next target.
About the Author: Lily White is a dark writer who likes to dabble on the taboo side of eroticism. Most of the time she can be found wandering around aimlessly while her mind is stuck in some twisted power play between two characters in her head. You may recognize her in public by the confused expression, random mumbling, and occasional giggle while thinking up a scene. Lily’s favorite things in life are reading, thinking about reading, buying books for reading….and writing. Her other secret pleasure is meeting with her plot editor in public to discuss her books and watching the shocked expressions of the people around her that don’t realize she’s talking about a book. When Lily is not reading, writing, wandering or freaking out innocent bystanders, she’s sleeping. Contact Lily White: Facebook: Twitter: @eroticlilywhite TargetThis

His lips were on mine and when I tried to pull away out of anger, he gripped my chin, holding me in place. His tongue forced its way between my lips and my knees buckled at the strength of his kiss. This wasn’t passion or love or desire, this was a man claiming me despite my objections or attempts to stop him.
After struggling against him and after forcing back the feelings I was developing for him, I got desperate. My knee came up aimed straight between his legs, but his hand was faster. His fingers gripped and dug into the skin and tendons beneath and I yelped in pain, which only made him smile as he continued the vicious kiss he was forcing me to take. He released me moments later and guided my leg back down to where I could place my foot on the ground.
When his lips pulled away from mine, his teeth scraped over my mouth before he pulled away to look at me. I jerked back, attempting to place distance between us, but, once again, he moved faster than I could. His hand gripped at the back of my neck and he somehow wrapped bits of my hair around his fingers. He pulled my head back on my shoulders, securing me in such a way that all I could see was him.
“Try and hurt me again and you will regret it.”
“Is that a threat?” I couldn’t believe the way he was treating me. I had a mind to call the police and report his behavior but, what he’d done by this point had not been enough to label it a crime. I’d invited him here. I’d stepped up to stand beside him in my backyard and I’d returned the kiss until my anger reminded me that I wanted nothing to do with the arrogant man who held me in place.
He chuckled, dark and deep. Before replying, his tongue peeked out to run along the cushion of his bottom lip. “No, my dear, it’s a promise.”
Before I could reply, his mouth was hot against mine. I struggled and fought, finally sinking my teeth into the full skin of his lip. He hissed, but released me, and when he pulled back, I could see where the pink color of his mouth had been stained red from the blood I had drawn.
“As I said, Autumn. You are going to regret that.”
Suddenly I was free and I fell back, tripping over the heel of my shoe landing hard on the concrete beneath me. He neither moved to catch me or help me back to my feet. For a few quiet seconds, he stared at me as if he felt sorry for me and I reached up to brush back the hair that had fallen in front of my face.
“Were you going to leave, Mr. Bates, or do I need to call the police to escort you?”
Another tense moment of silence occurred before he calmly responded, “An escort will not be necessary. Before I leave, however, I do want to tell you that I attempted to help you as much as I could. I’ve focused on you, Autumn, and after that little stunt of yours that left my lip bleeding, I am more intent than ever to have you. The question is not if – but when.”
“That will never happen. I can promise you.” I don’t know where I suddenly found the strength; be it indignation, or anger, or the hint of betrayal, my voice was firm once again and I didn’t frighten so easily in his presence.
He laughed. “We’ll see about that, Ms. Cleary. I’m the type of man who gets what he wants. You’d be wise to remember that.”

Excerpt #2 –

“You were supposed to finish an interview today for an article that was supposed to go live tomorrow. Now, because of you, and YOU alone, the blog has to run some bullshit fluff piece to fill the spot. How many fucking times do I have to tell you to check your fucking calendar?!
Taking three steps forward, I was nose to nose with her, smiling to feel the heat of anger roll along her skin. “Do you know that you are absolutely irresistible when you’re mad? I love angry women. They are so much more enjoyable to bring to their knees.” I winked at the same time I felt her hand close around my balls. She squeezed and I sucked in a breath in an attempt to alleviate the slight pain.
With her fingers still curled around the most sensitive part of my body, she smiled sweetly, tilting her head to say, “I’ll only be on my knees because I’ll be busy holding your body prostrate on the floor.” The tip of her tongue flicked along my cheek as she leaned in to whisper, “What do you say, Lucas. Care to see who can be the better Dom?”
Laughing, I pushed her away before setting my briefcase on the floor and stripping off my jacket. “My apologies for fucking up yet another ‘assignment’, but I was working on the book. You know how I get.”
“I’m familiar.” Her four inch heels clicked behind me as I made my way into the kitchen. “Tell me that you at least finished your quest for the perfect victim and we are back on track with the book.”
When I turned back to look at her, I noticed how her hair was disheveled and her clothes weren’t as immaculately coordinated as normal. “You look like shit.”
Flicking me off, she sashayed over to the bar, pushing herself up onto the stool and crossing her legs in a seductive, exaggerated manner. “I didn’t get much sleep last night. I had a mission, remember?”
Curling my lips into a wicked grin, I nodded. “Of course.” I didn’t ask for more information than she gave. Sarah was the type of person to accomplish a task and move on satisfied with the result. Dragging her back through the miniscule details of the path leading to that result was useless. The woman was all about bottom lines. She had my utmost respect for always using her strength and intelligence to her advantage.
“But, back to the book, Lucas, what’s going on with it?”
Pulling the glasses from my face, I placed them on the counter. “It’s going.  I think I have my rabbit in her hole, so to speak. It’s just a matter of reaching in and grabbing her. She’s had a rough couple of days. I hate to take advantage…”
“Oh, who are you kidding? Advantage is the only thing you take. But she’ll love you for it - they all do.” Examining her fingernails, she added, “Plus multiple orgasms will probably put her in a better mood. Take all the advantage you want, just make it quick. We’re …”
“Running out of time. I know.”

Excerpt #3:

Hands ran along the length of my body, fingers burning trails over my delicate skin. My back arched, the tips of my breasts coming alive beneath the material of my shirt. His mouth was hot and heavy pressed against my stomach, the heat of his breath against me, forcing my own air from my lungs.
“Oh God.”
My legs fall apart and his hand slides down over my panties, the muscles of my core rippling inside me, desperate to be filled. With his thumb rolling over my clit, he slips the length of his middle finger down, pushing against my opening to drench the cloth between our skin.
His head moves away from me suddenly, his formidable size moving to cover mine, his mouth hot and wet as he kisses along my neck. Every part of my body is hypersensitive to his touch, sparking and alive, the smallest brush against me sending waves of anticipation and need rolling along my spine. In a move of dominance, of ownership, his large hand grips my breast, rolling the tip between his fingers before taking it into his mouth.
“Please…” I beg. He always moves slowly, teasing my body into such a frenzied storm that every soft touch becomes unbearable. Never giving me control, never surrendering to a need as powerful as the one he builds in me, he takes his time savoring the driving bite of my desire.
My lips are overtaken, his teeth nipping at my lower lip before he fills my mouth with his taste, his kiss. Whimpers escape me as he pulls away, slowing down his attack, allowing my boiling blood to simmer once more.
A finger over my swollen lips, his mouth against my ear.Shhhhhhh…you have no power in this. You’re exposed and susceptible to my complete control. Your hands are bound where I tied them, your mouth can be silenced anytime I wish. If I want pain, you’ll experience pain; and once I have you screaming, it’ll only be a moment before you’re once again singing my name.”

Raven by Ashley Suzanne Cover Reveal

If I would have known then what I know now.

If I would have known that having my heart broken at thirteen by my one and only friend, Garrett Rhodes, would never compare to the empty feeling at sixteen when I buried my mother.

If I would have known that changing schools in my senior year would throw all that back in my face.

If someone would have told me that when you drink a fifth a night and get in bar fights at twenty one, I’d end up in jail … again.

Maybe … just maybe … I wouldn’t be in the hell storm I’m living in these days. Letting my past dictate my future, allowing the best of the best male MMA fighters bully me day in and day out and knowing no matter what I do, Garrett will always be the only man that understands me. I didn’t have to live this way. One day changed the course of my life forever.

Through all this mess, the one thing that I’ve found that keeps me centered … martial arts. And I’m damn good. If only someone would give me a chance to prove my worth.

All I can do now is make the best of it and try to not let the fight consume me.

About The Author

She looked up, eyes locking with mine, and stilled. She looked wild and panicked. Then she straightened her back, gave me a smile and stepped closer to the bar. What the fuck? I stopped on the other side and sat on a stool. Don't get ahead of yourself. I wanted so bad to believe that her avoidance of me was because she wanted more but I couldn't let myself run with it. That was a fall I didn't ever want to experience again. "Did you contract a highly contagious disease?" She frowned. "No…" "Murder someone?" "No." "Get amnesia?" "What're you doing, Logan?" "Just listing the only reasons I'll accept for you avoiding me." "Murder is a reason I can avoid you?" "Hey, if you've snapped I don't wanna be next." She rolled her eyes, fighting a smile. "Can I get you something, Scott?" "Yeah, Holland, you can get me you." Now there was a sentence with a double meaning. "What's going on?"

How to Seduce a Band Geek Review and Tour

How to Seduce a Band Geek (How To #2)
Release Date: 05/06/14
Swoon Romance

Summary from Goodreads:
Sierra Livingston’s got it bad for her sister’s best friend, Levi Mason—the boy who carries his drumsticks in his pocket, marches with the school’s band, and taps his feet to whatever beat runs through his head. Sierra racks her brain for ways to impress the sexy drummer, but the short skirts and bursting cleavage don’t seem to cut it.

When Sierra gets paired with Levi’s sister, Brea, for a mentorship program, they strike a deal. In exchange for Sierra keeping her mouth shut about Brea ditching the program, Brea lets Sierra dig for more info on Levi to help get the guy of her dreams.

But when Sierra discovers Levi no longer plays the drums, his family has moved into a trailer, and he’s traded in his Range Rover for a baby blue moped, Sierra’s not sure if she can go through with violating his privacy. She’ll have to find the courage to ask him straight out—if he’s willing to let her in—and explore other ways to seduce the school’s band geek.

** I received an arc in exchange for an honest review**

This book is one of the reasons why I got back into reading! It is written beautifully! It is fun, witty, and romantic all rolled into one perfectly written book with a dash of Awesomesauce!

Sierra was a perfectly normal high school student until one night an incident involving a tree, her sisters car and her ex. Since then she is the butt of jokes and harassed constantly by her former 'friends'. Levi is your typical boy next door and Sierra's sister's BFF! Oh, and a huge band geek!!! He's sweet and considerate, and harbors some secrets! This book follows them on their path to an unlikely relationship.

I loved this book, because it's not all rainbows and unicorns! It deals with some real life problems, but they are handled in such a way that it doesn't make this a gloom and doom book. This book had me cracking up and looking like a lunatic in front of strangers! Especially Sierra's dad's text messaging! priceless! One thing I will say is Sydney (Sierra's bestie) deserved a throat punch and a round house kick in the face! Once you read it, you'll see why. Every girl should have an Levi she can take care of! :)

This is a great fun read and worth buying and having on your kindle (or whatever ereader you have). Loved this book!!!
