Blog Tour Stop - Anthony Bryan's Bedtime for Bad Girls

Bedtime for Bad Girls Blog Tour

Book Synopsis:
A collection of erotic, toe curling, and sinfully delicious stories, Bedtime for Bad Girls is just the thing to send you off each night for the sweetest dreams of your life!

After writing The Suicide Princess, Anthony Bryan found there is an enormous demand for the sort of raw, hot fiction that can allow women to devour page after sexy page. Men are more tactile in their desires – they crave what they can see and feel physically. Women, however, are more sensual in that they yearn for what they can “feel” emotionally. Men are perfectly satisfied with watching something erotic, but women need to feel the emotions of what they’re experiencing; they need to connect with the participants and feel as though they are actually living the moment for themselves. This book is nothing more than a collection of steamy stories, told through the eyes of the participants, designed to put you in the heart of each moment – as a participant and not a viewer. There is no storyline or secret plot woven between each tale, but just a fun and raunchy collection of stories for you to enjoy one-by-one. It’s a chance to let go for a few minutes each night and enjoy reading for nothing more than a sinfully delicious escape to somewhere very naughty.

So, once again, find your favorite reading spot, pour yourself a drink (or maybe three this time), and love every second of Bedtime for Bad Girls… Because as always, Anthony Bryan wrote it for you!

Author Bio:
Anthony Bryan,
Author of The Suicide Princess and Bedtime For Bad Girls

Born and raised in London, UK, Anthony's hope, more than anything, is that his words can provide an escape for you, and he hopes they take you on a journey you won’t soon forget. His goal is to give you something different, refreshing and unlike anything you've ever read. In a sea of authors pumping out the same cookie-cutter stories, Anthony can only try to be the one who stands out and takes you on one hell of a ride.  Find your favorite reading spot, pour yourself a drink (or two) and love every second of every page he writes… After all, he writes them for you!

At 27 years old, Anthony now resides in the U.S. where he divides his time between Boston, Massachusetts and Sarasota, Florida.  He served with the American military in eastern Afghanistan, and he is a combat veteran as well as an accomplished fighter training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai kickboxing.  He has more tattoos than his mother would have liked, and he may not seem like the typical erotic writer - because he’s not.  He’s different, and his work is different, so get ready to be blown away!

Throughout his entire life, even as a young child, reading has always been Anthony's escape from reality. It was a way to temporarily leave the boring monotony of day-to-day life, and it allowed him to visit far off lands, meet unusual characters, take incredible adventures, and even learn about the very edges of our universe. Being able to take his love of reading and transform it to a passion for writing has been the greatest gift he has ever been given.

Taking Control by Jen Frederick is LIVE!!

Jen Frederick has released her new book Taking Control a few days early. I recently read the book and it is very, very good. It's the continuation of her first book in the Kerr Chronicles, Losing Control, and is told mostly from Ian's POV rather than Tiny's. Here's my review:

I enjoyed Losing Control by Jen Frederick which I ordered to read before I started Taking Control. The story was about a billionaire who didn’t know what life was until he found the woman of his dreams when he wasn’t even looking for her. They fall in love, but life is definitely not easy for Victoria “Tiny” Corielli and Ian Kerr at the end of Losing Control.
I am so glad I had an ARC to read immediately after finishing Losing Control because I was dying to know what happened with Tiny & Ian. I also love that Taking Control is more in Ian’s POV than Tiny’s though there are a few key chapters where we still learn what Tiny is thinking. Life doesn’t really get all that much easier for them in the beginning of Taking Control, but that’s what makes them a great couple for me.
They support each other in such great ways and are always trying to make the other understand their significance, not only in each other’s lives, but in the world, too. I don’t remember them ever saying “I love you” in the first book, but when they finally pull their heads out of the sand and admit it to each other, they flood each other with the words and the actions.
There were times while reading this book that I was worried the author was trying to create drama for the sake of drama and that I wouldn’t like how it all played out, but Ms. Frederick did an outstanding job of giving me just enough drama at a time to make me want to keep reading….I finished the novel in a day and a half which is pretty fast for me!!
I also enjoyed getting a little more out of Steve, the bodyguard and some other lesser characters in this novel. Miss Frederick didn’t ruin the book with too many secondary characters, but when they had dialog or were part of the story, there was always a reason. There was a conversation with Steve and Ian that totally cracked me up. They are discussing a new person driving Tiny for the day:

(Steve says) “It’s a guy, but I told him to pretend like he didn’t have a dick because if he touched Tiny or looked at her wrong, you would cut it off.”
“You’re a good man, Steve.”
“Just watching your back.”
Some of my favorite Ian quotes are….
“I never wished for happiness because I didn’t know what it was until you came into my life.”
“When I say that you’re my hear, my everything, those aren’t just words. They are the only truth in my world.”
“I need you because without you I am nothing. I am a pile of bones and flesh filled with misery. You bring me to life.”
I loved this book. Ian and Tiny had a good relationship in Losing Control, but hey move so much farther ahead in Taking Control. Their love is undeniable to anyone who meets them. Their drama only makes them stick that much closer. I also loved that Ms. Frederick gave us Ian’s POV so that we can see inside his crazy, alpha head! I give Taking Control 4 stars.

The hotly anticipated sequel to Losing Control.

I thought I needed only one thing in my life–the money and power to crush one man. But the moment I laid eyes on Victoria Corielli, my thirst for revenge was replaced by my craving for her.

No rule would keep me away; no obstacle too large to overcome. Not her will, not our differing social positions, not my infamous past. When she lost everything, I helped her pick up the pieces. When she trusted me with everything, she sealed her fate.

I’ve convinced Victoria she can put her heart in my hands. Now I have to protect it–from her shady stepfather and my business rivals, from enemies known and hidden. I’ll do anything to keep her. And I might have to prove it, because now Victoria's risking more than her heart to be with me; she’s risking her life.

I want us to get married. Soon. Do you want a big wedding?”

“Married? I mean, I guess I thought you were serious but I figured…I don’t know.” Her voice trails off.

“That my proposal of marriage was somehow insincere? I’ve never wanted anything more. I just didn’t want to pressure you because of all the emotional upheaval you’re experiencing now.” Rolling over so she can see me and judge the sincerity for herself, I declare, “I want you to be my wife. The mother of any children we have. My partner in life. I want that to happen now so that I can introduce you as Mrs. Ian Kerr.”

Her eyes close for a moment and beneath the lids, silent tears leak out. Her words, though, are classic. “Maybe you should take my name. You can be Ian Corielli and I’ll introduce you as Mr. Victoria Corielli.”

“As long as it means you’re mine in the eyes of the world, I’ll be Mr. John Smith.”

She wraps her arms around my neck and clings to me. This time the shudders I’m soothing are from maybe, possibly, hopefully joy for our future. “I’m okay with Victoria Kerr,” she chokes out. “You better give me a big rock and lots of flowers since you’re proposing to me while we’re naked.”

“I proposed to you when I first took you to the house on the Long Island Sound.”

“You didn’t propose. You said that you wanted me to be your wife and fill your big house with lots of little people.”

“That’s a proposal.”

“It was a demand.”

“It was a request couched as a demand.”

Her body is shaking with laughter. “You’ve been in charge for too long. That was no request.”

Pushing to my knees, I reach into the nightstand and retrieve the box I bought before Sophie died. Her eyes grow huge and her hands come up to the cover her mouth. I flip the box lid open, pluck the ring out and toss it aside.

Lifting her shaking hand in mine, I slide the ring down her finger.

“When I was fifteen I made a hundred different stupid vows. I’d avenge my mother. I’d rise to the top of Wall Street and smite everyone down. I’d crush Richard Howe beneath the sole of my boot. I’d win at everything. But I never wished for happiness because I didn’t know what it was until you came into my life. How could I want something I didn’t know was missing? Now, everything I’ve achieved pales in comparison to having you love me. When I say that you’re my heart, my everything, those aren’t just words. They are the only truth in my world. I’d give up money, revenge, success, as long as I could lie down next to you at night and wake up with your face beside mine.

There is no greater achievement in my life than having you fall in love with me and I recognize on some mysterious level that is pure luck. I need you to marry me and be my wife. I need you to be the mother of my children. I need you because without you I am nothing. I am a pile of bones and flesh filled with misery. You bring me to life. Love me, marry me, be with me in this life and into all the ones we live from this point ever after.”

“Well, since you put it like that, I guess I must.” She rises and kisses me. Our mouths sealing the promises we’ve made to another one another.

I make love to her again then, slowly. We barely move. I just slide in and we rock together and allow the strength of our emotions to carry us into the heaven.
